Biography:

Yiorgos Avgeros is a Greek artist born in Chania, Crete in 1953. He received his first art lessons at the G. Markoulakis design school under the painters V. Kelaidis and A. Petroulakis. In the 1970s he moved to Athens where he studied with Y. Vogiatzis and V. Korkovelos. Avgeros has exhibited his work in numerous solo and group shows, including at the Zoumboulakis Gallery and Alma Contemporary Art Gallery.
