Yudi Sulistyo is an Indonesian artist born in Yogyakarta in 1972. He graduated from the Art Institute Yogyakarta with a degree in Design and Visual Communication in 1994. Sulistyo's work often explores the themes of power, control, and the desire to invade territories. He uses materials such as cardboard, plastic pipe, wood, steel, and scrylic to create sculptures that are both visually striking and thought-provoking. Sulistyo has exhibited his work in galleries and museums around the world, including Mizuma Gallery in Singapore, the National Gallery of Indonesia, and the Museum of Contemporary Art in Sydney. His work has also been featured in numerous publications, including Artnet, Ocula, and Artsy.
