Biography:

Yvo Samgushak is an Inuit Indigenous Art artist who was born in 1942. He began working with clay when he was 19 years old and became a veteran of the original government-run ceramics program in Rankin Inlet, Nunavut. Yvo Samgushak's work has been offered at auction multiple times, with realized prices ranging from $181 to $250 USD. He is known for his sculptures and was also an actor, starring in the 2003 Canadian survival drama film The Snow Walker.
