Biography:

Zarina Muhammad is an artist, educator and researcher whose practice is deeply entwined with a critical re-examination of oral histories, ethnographic literature and other historiographic accounts about Southeast Asia. She was born in Singapore in 1982. Her work has been exhibited in various biennales and institutions, including the Singapore Biennale, NTU Centre for Contemporary Art Singapore, and Nodes of Silence. She is also one of the founders of The White Pube, a collaborative identity of writers and curators who challenge the art world's lack of representation and accessibility.
