Biography:
Zarlashta Jalalzai, also known as Zarlashta Salarzai, is an Afghan designer and artist born in Kabul, Afghanistan in 1990. She is known for her contemporary Afghan clothes designs, including the 'Afghan Dress' and the 'White Dress'. She was also a participant in the Qipao design campaign in Hangzhou, China in 2019. Jalalzai is also a cosmetic Nurse practitioner and has a degree from Columbia University’s Graduate School of Journalism in New York. She is also a journalist with RFE/RL’s Afghan Service and an American-Afghan journalist who specializes in covering war and armed conflict.
