Zhang Qikai is a Chinese artist born in 1950 in the Sichuan province. He learned painting from his elder and started his career as an artist. He is known for his panda-themed paintings in a surrealist style, which are exhibited in the Chengdu Research Base of Giant Panda Breeding in China. His works have been displayed in various exhibitions and can be found on artnet and Artland. Zhang Qikai currently lives and works in China.
