Biography:
Ding Zhengxian, also known as Zhengxian Ding, was born in Zhejiang Province, China in the 20th Century. He is known for his work in Painting and specializes in prints and woodcut art. Ding Zhengxian was awarded the Third prize in China's Young Artist Competition in 1975 and studied traditional Chinese painting under Zheng Dehan, Prof. Pan Yun, and others. He is best known for his artwork 'Autumn Moon over the Calm Lake' which reflects his accomplishment in woodcut art. Ding Zhengxian passed away in 2000.
