Zulkifle Mahmod, also known as Zul Mahmod, is a Singaporean sound artist born in 1975. He is a prominent figure in the contemporary art scene and has made significant contributions to the field of sound art. Mahmod holds a Master of Arts in Fine Arts with Distinction from Goldsmiths, University of London (2023) and a Diploma in Visual Arts (Sculpture) from La Salle SIA College of the Arts. He is known for his stunning and breathtaking sound installations and sculptures, and has been at the forefront of a generation of sound-media artists in Singapore's contemporary art development. Mahmod has been honored with the Cultural Medallion, Singapore's highest accolade for art practitioners, for his significant impact on arts and culture.
