The steamship Ana de Sala at the port of Barcelona. She is surrounded by medium-sized vessels and smaller boats transferring goods to the steamship. The vessel features a brigantine rig. The two steamships Ana de Sala and Vidal Sala belonged to the company Sala & Vidal, which was founded in Barcelona in 1876. The company transported cotton from Barcelona to Havana, Havana to the United States, and from the United States to Barcelona. In 1886 the company closed down, and all its steamships were sold off.
