Locomotive acquired by the Royal Portuguese Railway Company and built in Germany by Sächsische Maschinenfabrik in 1881. It was considered to be versatile locomotive at the time, suitable for working all kinds of services,freight, passenger and mixed trains. In the early 1930s, the locomotive worked the Operário, a service on the route between Entroncamento, Vila Nova da Barquinha and Alferrarede. It was one of the main locomotives used on the branch between Rio Maior and Vale de Santarém, where, along with Setil station, it completed its final duties as a shunting locomotive. After around 80 years of service, its career ended in 1967.
